Whombs is developing practice based research networks to explore and expand the research base, to construct evidence synthesis and to identify real world, case based research hypotheses in support of new studies into the osteopathic care of women and children.
Through our recognised training partners / links, we support a certification scheme for practitioners who have undertaken advanced practice education in women’s health issues, and these members can become whombs friendly, and whombs certified. These practitioners can the join the PBRN’s to help further this work. We are also seeking collaboration with individual osteopathic practices who would like to join. These practices can join a dedicated whombs research membership and also receive training to be a part of the PBRNs.
If you are interested in being part of the network, please contact caroline on admin@whombs .org
Details of research training can be found here (coming soon).
